our 20 year anniversary is this saturday and we are so excited to see all of our loyal clients, friends, family and new friends!

in the spirit of celebration we have decided to blog about our past 20 years of pergolina. we found some old photos that reveal how we have grown, changed and laughed.

the sky has been AMAZING recently as a result of all this crazy extreme weather shifts we are having here in southern california. one day it is HOT then suddenly there is thunder and lightening then BOOM pouring rain, rainbows and then... perfection...

the clouds are looking really good, we suggest you look up!

things to come...

we are so excited about our upcoming 20th anniversary party! we are celebrating with an exhibition by echo park pottery designed by peter shire! it is sure to be a blast. we have already made some fun changes in the shop to accommodate all the treasures coming in.

so save the date - OCTOBER 16TH @ PERGOLINA from 1 - 6pm!!!

below are some photos of peter shire's studio in echo park. the place is magical! it is loaded with bold color and littered with interesting sculptures, collections and odds and ends. the photos don't even do the space justice. in one interview with peter, he greeted the reporter with the statement "hello, i am a toy maker" and the funny thing is before we read that p and i keep refferring to the space as geppetto's workshop. see for yourself...

will you ever forgive us for taking so long to post? i know. it was rough!

things are super nutty here at pergolina. we have been receiving so much new merchandise! there are boxes everywhere! and we are getting ready for our big 20th anniversary party featuring echo park pottery designed by peter shire!!! yipee! and besides all that the weather has been crazy. the store is all moved around and we've had crazy weather including lots and lots of rain the past couple of days (more on the weather in upcoming posts) AND as a topper our internet has been slow. go figure!

but we are back!
